Abhishek Patil

Growth Leader

Abhishek was a Growth Leader at CRED. His expertise lies in driving overall macros distribution & monetisation strategy for tech products. He led larger part of the growth charter to scale CRED's consumer base from a million to first 10 million users. The role involved solving early stage growth for CRED's distribution strategy - from finding channels, solving customer acquisition cost & acquiring affluent customers who could be monetised later. Apart from CRED, he has consulted multiple growth stage internet companies in India over the last decade for their distribution & monetisation strategies across B2C/ D2C product companies. This includes 100s of companies of GrowthX members too.

Udayan Walvekar

Product Leader

Udayan was the first growth hire at Razorpay. He built a 9-member full-stack growth team to drive product-led growth across all business lines there while getting a front row seat to Razorpay’s growth journey from just 10K merchants to 10,00,000+ merchants. He was also the first growth hire at Merkle-Sokrati, driving product launches, user growth, daily active users, engagement, and feature adoption. Prior to that he was consulting startups in San Francisco on product, growth & marketing across various industries like SaaS, AdTech, & FinTech. Udayan brings over 10 years of experience building and leading growth teams from Seed stage to Series F, including work with hundreds of GrowthX member companies.

The program normally requires a commitment of **15-18 hrs per week.**
  • 4 hours for the live deep-dive session on Sundays.
  • 1 hour for a project briefing session on Monday evenings.

While the commitment may vary slightly depending on your work style and pace, setting aside dedicated time each week is essential to maximize the experience. The program is designed to fit alongside a full-time schedule, with the flexibility to work on the project throughout the week.
Yes, the course is entirely online, allowing you to participate from anywhere with an internet access. Here’s a typical weekly schedule —

Our program is designed to help you solve real growth problems for your product. It's immersive and based on real case studies of products across India and the rest of the world. We pick the case, drill down the core framework, and then expand that framework for different stages of products and industries. The live learning sessions on Sundays are immersive and cover frameworks you can apply on a real product the next Monday morning - that's a promise. In a live session, every 45 minutes, you get the opportunity to take a pause, reflect, clear doubts, and then move to the next case study/ framework. You then apply the learnings to a real-world product. When it comes to learning, most people focus only on training the logical part of the brain. However, one of the biggest factors in effective learning is psychological safety, and it's often overlooked. Our learning experience leads with empathy & is a safe space for everyone
Yes, the program includes an optional Capstone Project held every six months. This intensive experience lets you apply everything you’ve learned to solve a real-world growth challenge for an actual product. As a member you can choose to do Capstone as per your schedule. In Capstone, you'll build essential growth skills while working in teams. Mentors and program directors guide you through structured problem-solving and sound-boarding sessions to keep you focused and think strategically.
No, there's no specific pre-work needed. Just come with a clear intention to learn and make sure your schedule is free during the live session timings so you can stay focused and fully engaged. And yes, trust the process that we have built — it simply works.
A typical deep dive session of 4 hours is structured into smaller 45 to 60 mins segments

  • They are followed by a case study
  • Then distilling the framework behind the case
  • Each segment has a dedicated live Q&A for ‌members.
During the project briefing session, you can expect to receive detailed information about the project. It is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of the requirements, objectives, and expectations. Additionally, each project briefing session ends with a 30 minute breakout room session, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with your learning circle. These breakout sessions allow you to speed solve some the main aspect of the project and directly apply what you had learned in the deep dive sessions
We will not be able to share recordings of ‌any of the live sessions. We believe that live sessions are the key to the GrowthX experience ‌and we want everyone to make the most out of them while they are attending the session.
